Public Forums & Blogs

This site makes message boards, blogs, and/ or news groups available to its users. Although BDB moderates its public areas we take no liability for the views of members of the public, we will act promptly to remove any unsuitable posts once they are brought to our attention.

Forum & Blog Guidelines

BDB's forums consist of bulletin boards. We have some basic rules and guidelines in order to help the entire BDB community get along with each other and enjoy the experience:

Be courteous to the other participants. Please avoid 'shouting' (using all capital letters) or misspelling.

You must provide accurate registration information. Do not impersonate anyone else.

Do not use vulgarity, obscenity, profanity, ethnic slurs, hate speech, or sexually explicit language against, or harass, abuse, or threaten other participants. Do not libel or defame others.

No advertising, trading of goods or services, or other commercial use is allowed. No bulk e-mail, junk mail or spam, chain letters, or repeat postings of the same message is permitted anywhere on the forums.

Do not transmit content (including any information, editorial content, graphics, photos, designs, text, programs, files, software or other materials) unless you own it or have permission to post it or transmit it. Downloading is easy, but just because something was easy to copy doesn't mean you own it. Unauthorized use of or copying copyrights, trademarks, patent rights, rights of privacy and publicity and other proprietary rights or fiduciary obligations can subject you to civil or even criminal liability. You must get permission first.

Do not violate any laws while using the BDB forums or use the forums for any illegal purpose. This website is operated by BDB from its office in the United States. If you access this website from another jurisdiction, you are responsible for compliance with local laws. Forum Complaints Procedure

To report violations of our forum guidelines or other objectionable behavior or material, send us an email in the following format. When you report a problem to us, BDB may take a variety of steps to prevent violators from continuing to cause problems, including education in proper behavior, warnings against improper behavior, or terminating the privilege of using the BDB Forums.
